Smart school bus launched in Dhaka

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has launched the Smart School Bus Service, starting at Banani Vidya Niketan School and College. The service features three routes—Jaba, Golap, and Togar. DNCC, BRTC, and DMP are collaborating on this initiative, which includes 39 newly constructed bus stops. Buses are equipped with tracking, RFID, CCTV, and 24/7 hotline support. Parents can monitor students via an app. Fares range from 800 to 1200 taka per month. Each bus has a dedicated trip manager to ensure student safety.
