Two teachers from St. Scholastica’s Girls’ School are facing allegations of sexual harassment in a filed case

Two teachers from St Scholastica's Girls' School and College in Chattogram, Bangladesh, have been accused of sexually abusing a fifth-grade student for over a year. Rakib Uddin, 35, and Surjit Pal, 33, were named as the accused. Rakib has been detained for questioning, while a case was filed by the victim's mother. Screenshots of messages exchanged between the teachers and the victim have been submitted as evidence. Allegations state that the abuse had been ongoing since 2023, with the teachers threatening the victim when she resisted. Previous complaints of harassment were reportedly ignored by school authorities.
