Three Men Sentenced to D*eath Over Gang R*ape of Class Nine Student in Jamalpur

A Women and Children Repression Tribunal in Jamalpur has sentenced three men to death for the gang rape of a ninth-grade student. The court also imposed a fine of Tk 2 lakh on each convict. The incident took place on April 19, 2024, when the victim was taken to an open field in Islampur upazila. Judge Muhammad Abdur Rahim delivered the verdict after hearing testimonies from nine witnesses, including the victim.
