Bayern Munich were held to a 3-3 draw by Norwegian champions Viking in the UEFA Champions League after Michael Olise was sent off. Harry Kane scored twice and assisted another goal to put Bayern 3-2 ahead. However, Olise received a second yellow card for throwing the ball at Viking captain Zlatko Tripic’s face, leaving Bayern with 10 players for the final 16 minutes.
Viking equalised in the 90th minute through a header from Haugen at the far post. Bayern coach Vincent Kompany blamed the team for the result, calling Olise’s red card “super dumb.” Olise will miss Bayern’s next Champions League match against Arsenal in Munich next week.
