A tragic helicopter collision in Rio de Janeiro's western zone claimed the lives of all six people on board on Sunday morning. Among the victims was 32-year-old American singer, comedian, and internet personality Oliver Tree, best known for his viral hit "Life Goes On."
According to reports, Tree was in Brazil for a world tour when the helicopter he was traveling in collided mid-air with another helicopter carrying only its pilot. The aircraft crashed into an electric car dealership, sparking a fire that destroyed around 20 vehicles before firefighters brought the blaze under control.
The victims also included a Brazilian music producer, an Argentine video director, and Argentine YouTuber Gaspi. Authorities said formal identification has not yet been completed due to the severity of the burns. An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the crash.
